Paul is a Director in the EFPR Group’s Tax and Small Business Department. He has over twenty years of experience in corporate and small business taxation in a broad range of industries.

The majority of his experience includes working with small businesses, partnerships and corporate clients, as well as a broad range of complex individual situations. His focus predominantly includes tax planning, compliance and provision. He has extensive experience with the IRC Section 965 transition tax, IRC Section 951A GILTI tax and other U.S. inclusion provisions. He works with individuals in the U.S. and abroad helping them through the IRS streamlined procedures ensuring compliance with global tax rules.

He possesses an in-depth knowledge related to controlled foreign corporations, controlled foreign partnerships and foreign disregarded entities for both businesses and individuals. For new entities or entities establishing or creating a branch or subsidiary, he assists with entity structuring.

Paul’s tax background includes in excess of ten years in both public accounting and industry experience. He has worked as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoppers LLP and as a Senior Manager at Deloitte LLP. His industry experience includes positions of progressively increasing responsibility at Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and Conagra Brands, Inc.

Paul’s focused tax and accounting experience gives him an in-depth perspective on the issues which most affect businesses and individuals with international operations.
