November, 2017, Rochester, New York: Charlie Young, CPA and supervisor in EFPR Group’s Tax and Business Services department, received the distinguished ASTPS Top Practitioner Award. This award is presented to ASTPS members who consistently work in tax problem resolution  and demonstrate a dedication to ASTPS principles. They work to enhance the accounting industry’s image and maintain their skills through continuing professional education. Charlie has been with EFPR Group since 1996. His experience includes individual, business and non-profit taxation as well as trust and estate planning. He is also experienced in tax problem resolution related to federal and state tax issues and has helped many clients resolve serious tax problems. Having successfully completed the National Tax Practice Institute’s three year training program, he is an NTPI Fellow, as well as a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist. In addition to delivering high-level client service, Charlie is actively involved in the community serving as a Town Justice and is an active member of the Wayne County Magistrates Association.

Charlie graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Masters in Accounting.
