June, 2017 – Rochester, New York:  EFPR Group, LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Courtney Schenkel, CPA, Director, to Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Great Rochester, Board of Directors. She will continue to be active in promoting their mission of building lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach programs, and the prevention of cruelty.

 “I am honored to serve as a representative to an organization that continues to make positive change in our community.  Any pet owner knows the joy and comfort an animal can provide, but not everyone knows how life changing that bond can be.  I look forward working with my fellow board members, staff at Lollypop Farm and the hundreds of volunteers who give their time to this amazing organization.” said Courtney.

Courtney is a director at EFPR Group.  She is the service line leader for Employee Benefit Plans and is a member of the Commercial Services team.  She provides audit, review and consulting services to closely-held for-profit companies, not-for-profits, and health care entities.   She has experience in numerous industries including manufacturing, construction, technology, telecommunications, software and service.  In addition to providing high level client services, Courtney is also regularly involved in staff recruiting and firm wide training.

Courtney graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.   Within the community she was actively involved in the formation of the Pittsford Alumni Association and will continue to serve on the Lollypop Farm Facilities Committee.
