July 18, 2016- Rochester, New York: EFPR Group-Trek Cycle teammate, Nikolas Di Domenico, was invited to participate in the USA Cycling Region Talent ID Camp.
USA Cycling Regional Talent ID camps are the first step in being accepted into the USA Cycling development program. Their purpose is to provide USA Cycling with junior talent evaluations while offering athletes a pathway to develop their cycling ability. The ultimate goal is to identify potential US Olympic Team cyclists.
In 2016, USA Cycling will host nine Regional Talent Camps at various locations throughout the nation. Nikolas attended the camp July 5-10, 2016 at the Canandaigua, NY location. Nick recently graduated from Fairport High School and will attend MCC in the fall for engineering. At 18 years old, he is the youngest member of the EFPR Group-Trek Cycling Team.
“One of the key elements of the team is to identify and mentor young cyclists,” said Kevin Hill,
