June, 2024 – Rochester, New York: EFPR Group, LLP announces Paul Shomshor, CPA, MST, has been hired as a Director in the Tax and Business Services Division where he will primarily support the International Tax practice area.

Paul has over twenty years of experience in corporate and small business taxation in a broad range of industries. He works with individuals in the U.S. and abroad helping them through the IRS streamlined procedures ensuring compliance with global tax rules. The majority of his experience includes working with small businesses, partnerships and corporate clients, as well as a complex individual situations. Paul possesses an in-depth knowledge related to controlled foreign corporations, controlled foreign partnerships and foreign disregarded entities for both businesses and individuals. For new entities or entities establishing or creating a branch or subsidiary, he assists with entity structuring.

Paul is a certified public accountant (CPA) and graduate of Baylor University.
