EFPR Group CEO Wins at Empire State Senior Games
July 21, 2016- Rochester, New York: EFRP Group CEO and EFPR Group-Trek Cycle teammate, Kevin Hill, placed third in the 5k Time Trial at the Empire State Senior Games held on June 18th at Southern Cayuga High School, Cortland, NY.
The Empire State Senior Games is an organized competition for those ages 50 and older. This year, hundreds of athletes from across the state came to compete in the Games. Kevin has been active in the cycle racing community for over 10 years.
Kevin participated in the multi-event cycling competition consisting of a 5k Time Trail, 10k Time Trail and a 20k Road Race. He placed third in the 5k Time Trial with a finish time of 8:03 and fourth in the 10k time trial with a time of 15:52, missing third place by just two seconds. He placed mid-pack in the 20k Road Race; averaging a time of 23.2 MPH.
The EFPR Group-Trek Cycling Team participates in amateur racing events across New York State, the United States and Canada. The team’s primary objective is to grow and support the sport of cycling at the grassroots level, especially for junior riders.
