EFPR Group Announces New Partners in Buffalo, New York

November, 2019 – Rochester, New York – EFPR Group, LLP announced three new partners to the Firm: Raymond Nowicki, Laura Geiger, and Paul Keil as part of the Nowicki and Company merge.

Raymond Nowicki, CPA is partner in the firm with over 40 years of diverse professional experience. In addition to specializing in family-owned businesses, he is a national expert in the area of quality control standards for accounting firms, a national trainer on pension audits and peer review for AICPA. Ray works with individual and business clients in many different industries and in a variety of areas including estate planning and trusteeship, structuring new business ventures, strategic business planning, litigation support, privately-held companies, and family owned businesses. As a nationally recognized lecturer on peer review and pension audits, he is known for bringing energy, life and humor to these otherwise dry technical topics.

Laura Geiger, CPA is a partner with over 23 years of public accounting experience. She provides tax planning and preparation for individuals, corporations and partnerships, including preparation of personal financial statements, projections and outsourced controller tasks. Laura works with individual and business clients in many different industries and in a variety of areas including S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, family owned businesses and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) examinations and verifications.

Paul Kiel, CPA is a partner with over 34 years of public accounting, auditing, consulting, tax compliance and planning experience and he has also worked as a corporate controller in the private sector. He works with individual and small business clients in many different industries and specializes mainly in taxation. Principal areas of expertise includes individual and corporate taxation, taxation of flow-through entities, trust taxation, tax planning and compliance, sales and use tax, small business consulting, accounting and auditing.
