August 20, 2014, Rochester, New York: The partners and staff at EFPR Group are committed to building a strong and vibrant community.  To accomplish this goal the firm has supported a number of local non-profits and created specific causal marketing relationships with others in both the Rochester and Buffalo markets. Over the past few months, the staff at the Rochester headquarters have created Jean’s Friday in which employees make a contribution to a selected non-profit and are rewarded by wearing Jeans to work.  The program has been a smashing success and has raised $3270 that it shared with the Hochstein School of Music, Honor Flight of Rochester, the Alzheimer’s Association, Pet’s Pride, Childhood Cancer Association, the American Heart Association, and the Gillam Grant Community Center. Specific support of other non-profit clients can take the form of direct sponsorships of events or support of seminars and conferences.  The firm has invested close to $100,000 in 2014 supporting a myriad of community organization. In addition, employees volunteer their own time to support organizations like Habitat for Humanity, The Open Door Mission, Chase Corporate Challenge and the United Way’s Day-of-Caring. The firm also supports several non-profit clients with a co-branded sports marketing campaign in conjunction with the Rochester Red Wings and the Buffalo Bison’s.  This year Big Brothers, Big Sisters and The Seneca Park Zoo are their partners in the Rochester area.  They receive over $12,000 in brand awareness and fund raising advertising during Red Wings games for the entire 72-game season. In Buffalo, our Bison’s campaign benefits Hunter’s Hope Foundation and SASi, to the tune of $14,000 in brand reinforcement and fund raising advertising.  The sports-marketing campaigns utilize a call to action that drives fans to make a contribution directly on the non-profit’s website.  The entire cost of both the Red Wings and Bison’s campaigns are entirely funded by EFPR Group.
