Riya currently resides in Rochester, NY and recently graduated from RIT. She will be joining the firm as a Staff Accountant in our Rochester Office’s Attest Department.

What attracted you to EFPR?

EFPR stood out to me because of its welcoming culture, opportunities to grow in audit, and the chance to work with a team that values collaboration and learning.

What do you hope to bring to the EFPR team?

I hope to bring my analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to support the team.

What made you want to go into your line of work

I’ve always been drawn to working with numbers. Audit gave me the perfect opportunity to combine my analytical skills with a passion for ensuring accuracy and helping businesses stay on track.

Where is the most unusual or exotic place you’ve traveled to?

One of the highlights during a road trip I took from New York to California this summer was the drive up Pikes Peak, it was an unforgettable experience!

Do you have any notable achievements you have accomplished outside of work?

As Captain and Rebuttal Presenter, I led my university’s debate team to win the regional championship at the Debate Tournament.
