Welcome back Leah! Leah lives in Corning, NY and recently graduated from Elmira College! Leah completed her spring internship with us and has returned as a Staff Accountant in our Corning office’s TBS department.

What do you hope to bring to the EFPR team?

I hope that I can be used as a resource to assist in any areas necessary. I hope to bring a fresh optimism to the team that can encourage others as well!

What is one thing most people would be surprised to learn about you?

In high school, I was an apprentice at a local flower shop. The owner was a family friend looking to retire and sell the store. I planned on getting my degree in business and buying that shop. I learned, while I love the craft of flower arranging, making this hobby into a career didn’t feel like the right fit for me. Once I realized this, I began exploring a career in accounting.

Name a “bucket list” personal goal that you’d like to accomplish? What is the likelihood that you’ll accomplish it? Are you working toward it now?

My brother and I want to buy our dad his dream car someday; a 1978 Trans Am in the Bandit Edition. My siblings and I grew up loving cars and going to car shows. Our parents sold classic cars as a side business. We’re not currently working towards this goal but we would like to once we are settled into our careers.
