Kayla is from Albany, NY and is currently attending SUNY Geneseo. She will be working as an Intern in our Rochester Office’s Tax and Business Services Department.

What do you hope to bring to the EFPR team?

I hope that during my time at EFPR I can apply what I have learned so far at college to a working environment and also contribute to making the corporate world a more diverse place.

What made you want to go into your line of work?

I decided to choose accounting because I have always been interested in a math-related career. Also, within accounting there are so many different career options to choose from.

Do you play a musical instrument?

I currently play the violin which I started playing the 3^rd grade.

Do you play a sport or did you play in college or high school?

I am currently on the women’s track and field team at SUNY Geneseo. I also did both varsity swimming and track and field in high school.

Are you an avid fan of any sports teams?

My favorite NFL team is the Texans!

What is one thing most people would be surprised to learn about you (that you’re willing to share)? It could be a hidden talent or favorite pass-time, something you’ve accomplished, or something that happened to you.

I really like to find easter eggs in shows and movies, especially ones that are really difficult to find if you are not a fan of the director or series.
