Year-End Tax Planning in 2020
This year has been unlike any other in recent memory. Front and center, the COVID-19 pandemic has touched virtually every aspect of daily living and business activity in 2020. In addition to other financial consequences, the resulting fallout is likely to have a significant impact on year-end tax planning for both individuals and small businesses. For your convenience, we have created a website page with information about individual, business and financial tax planning tips. This will be updated continuously so check back often.Click for Year-End Planning Suggestions!
If you are currently not receiving our Client Tax Organizer to help organize and gather your data, and you would like one, click on the below button to email us. For anyone who normally requests a paper organizer, these will be mailed by the end of the year.TaxOrganizers@EFPRgroup.com
Streamlining Tax Preparation Process
We are offering our clients the use of a cloud-based platform called SafeSend. Using SafeSend we are able to electronically deliver your return in an expedited and secure manner. You will also be able to access your tax filings for 7 years, allowing for easier use in the future. Please contact your tax professional if you are interested in this option. Please click the link below to learn a bit more about the SafeSend process through an instructional video.SafeSend Video
Important Due Dates
Please submit your tax information as early as possible - even if you are missing some information (for example, K-1 forms, which often arrive much later). This will enable us to begin the preparation process and help you anticipate any tax obligations you may incur. If we do not receive the bulk of your information by March 27, 2021, we will be extending your 2020 tax return.
