Rachel is from Rochester, NY and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University at Buffalo in 2021. She is a new Staff Accountant in the Attest department in our Buffalo office.
What attracted you to EFPR?
“I was attracted to EFPR because of the way they support their staff through the mentoring program and the wide variety of market segments they serve. I also value the culture of the office and that employees feel they have the opportunity to continue to learn and grown in their positions.”
What made you want to go into your line of work?
“I was inspired by my high school College Business Law teacher to try a college accounting course. I instantly was captivated by the material and eager to learn more.”
What do you hope to bring to the EFPR team?
“I hope to provide EFPR with new ideas and add another point of view to the team. I will also contribute through my passion for the field.”
Do you have any notable achievements you have accomplished outside of work?
“I was a member of University at Buffalo’s Beta Alpha Psi, an honor organization for financial students.”
Who is your hero and why?
“My dad is my hero because he has always supported me and my dreams. He has always worked so hard to provide above and beyond for my family and I. I look up to him and his work ethic because he dedicates everything to his job.”
Do you play a sport or did you play in college or high school?
“I played volleyball all throughout high school and did intramurals in college.”
